What Are the Options for Each Concrete Coating?
1️⃣ Epoxy Coatings
100% Solids Epoxy – Thick, high-build for industrial strength. Excellent for base coats. Can be used with flake, base coat for metallics, base coat for polyaspartics and urethanes. Less scratch resistant than other coatings, and should be top coating for optimum durability. High gloss finish.
Water-Based Epoxy – More environmentally friendly and easier to apply. Low V.O.C. Excellent Strength Characteristics. Matte and Gloss finish.
Metallic Epoxy – Unique, high-gloss finish with stunning visual effects. Can use several colors to create many different designs. High Gloss Finish. Less scratch resistant, and should be top coated for optimum durability. Great for interior of homes, showrooms, garages, commercial floors, and more.
Flake Epoxy – Unique, with unlimited color epoxy flake options. Textured, and extremely durable. Great for garages, showrooms, exterior surfaces like walkways and driveways, and pool decks. Requires a topcoat with polyaspartic, or urethane.
Quartz Epoxy – Infused with quartz granules for extra durability and slip resistance. Excellent for kitchens and exterior surfaces like patios, driveways, and walkways. Requires a topcoat like polyaspartic of urethane. Finished as a satin or gloss finish
Moisture Vapor Barrier Epoxy - designed to be extremely moisture resistant. Prevents coatings from bubbling and delaminating. Also, designed to applied thicker which ads milage to your floor making it thicker and stronger. Soaks into the floor for great bonding. Used as a prime coat or base coat and requires a topcoat for optimum durability. High Gloss Finish.
2️⃣ Polyaspartic Coatings
Clear Polyaspartic – Used as a topcoat for added protection. Fast dry capabilities, and used when a quick application is needed or required. UV resistant, tire mark resistant. Finishes as a gloss finish, and can be combined with anti slip traction additive for a slip resistant finish.
Tinted Polyaspartic – Customizable colors for aesthetic appeal. Fast Dry capabilities, and used when a quick application is needed or required. UV resistant, and tire mark resistant. Ideal topcoat for solid color epoxy floors.
Flake Polyaspartic – Embedded vinyl flakes for texture and design. Used to provide a " 1 day Floor" because of its FAST drying capability. UV resistant and ideal for exterior coatings like walkways, pool decks, drive way, ect.
3️⃣ Urethane Coatings
Aliphatic Urethane – High UV resistance, ideal for outdoor applications. Used as a top coat over epoxy floors, or direct to concrete like " grind & seal" sealed concrete flooring. Comes in matte, satin, and gloss finish. High scratch resistance.
Aromatic Urethane – Excellent chemical resistance for industrial settings. Comes in clear and solid color options. used as a top coat or "grind & Seal" applications.
Moisture-Cured Urethane – Great for areas with high moisture exposure.
Water Based Urethanes - Beautiful matte, satin, or gloss finish. Good chemical resistance. excellent moisture resistance. excellent for direct to concrete or " grind & seals" Uv Resistant, and tire mark resistant.
3️⃣ Flexible Coatings
Flexible Polyaspartics – High UV resistance, ideal for outdoor applications. Extremely Flexible and crack resistant
Flexible Urethane – Excellent chemical resistance for industrial settings. Extremely Flexible and crack resistant
Flexible Epoxy– Great for areas with high moisture exposure. Extremely Flexible and crack resistant.
3️⃣ Metal Coatings (DTM- Direct -to- Metal)
Direct-to-metal Urethanes – High UV resistance, ideal for outdoor applications. Can be applied to metal surfaces to protect from rusting. Highly scratch resistant.
Direct-To Metal Epoxy – Excellent chemical resistance for industrial settings. Applied thicker for added protection and longer lasting
Direct-to Metal Ceramic Coatings – Designed to be applied over epoxy, or urethanes. Highly scratch resistant thin coating. satin and gloss finish.
3️⃣ Ceramic Coatings
Thin Top Coat Ceramics – Designed to be applied as a topcoat to other coatings. Significantly more scratch resistant. Comes in satin, and gloss finishes
